I went to bed last night and like Alice, woke up in wonderland!

I arrived in Austin, Texas yesterday to attend the TCEA 2012 conference with SMART Technologies, and I had the privilege of meeting the other two SMART Exemplary Educators (SEEs) who are also here at TCEA. What absolutely wonderful people I was introduced to!

We all had dinner with Deena Zeynk, SMART’s Program Manager (hands bow up and down “Oh great and awesome one”) and Heather Lamb, one of SMART’s Education Consultants in the Texas area. Today, we are attending the SMART Academy, where the other SEEs and I will be helping and encouraging teachers to learn how to engage students with SMART Notebook collaborative learning software. I can’t wait to share what I know with them!

It is really an honor to be representing SMART Technologies and to be able to influence and mentor other teachers in the power of technology.

I look forward to my days here at TCEA and in Austin, and sharing my experiences with you all!
