SMART spent five action-packed days at didacta 2012, Europe’s largest education fair in Hannover, Germany, with more than 80,000 visitors in attendance. Didacta is an annual event for teachers, coaches, trainers, lecturers and education authorities, to meet and learn about the latest innovative learning aids, new concepts and current trends for classrooms.

With prominent presence at the show, SMART Germany presented its broad portfolio of new education solutions like the SMART UF75 projector, the SMART Board 800 series interactive whiteboard with four-touch interactivity, 3D Tools for SMART Notebook software, as well as teaching units created by well-known education publishers.

With the visit of a big Saudi Arabian delegation, our education department had the chance to present SMART as leading innovator throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. Even television and radio stations interviewed SMART staff and reference teachers about current political discussions concerning the German education system.

During the five days at didacta, we presented our leadership and enjoyed popularity from thousands of educators. We are happy to have accomplished this big success and are looking forward to didacta 2013 in Cologne.
