If you’ve ever wondered what the benefits of a flipped classroom are, or how to use SMART products with this teaching strategy – today’s ISTE presentation by educator Dan Bohn is one you definitely don’t want to miss!

This math teacher from Hononegah High School in Rockton, Illinois will be presenting, The flipped classroom and student-centered learning, today at 11 a.m. in booth 3313.

Dan will be focusing on how he uses the recording feature in SMART Notebook to create videos of lessons that can be posted online for students. He will also demonstrate how he records a lesson and posts it to his webpage.

This SMART Exemplary Educator and SMART Certified Trainer will be sharing his experiences ‘flipping’ his geometry classes to create more time for interactive activities and guided practice, and explain how absent and struggling students in his Algebra II class have benefitted from his recorded lessons.
